Low Carbon Products and Services
Low Carbon Products
Product Carbon Labelling is becoming a popular way of demonstrating to consumers what the embodied carbon emissions are associated with particular products. Embodied carbon refers to the emissions associated with the extraction of raw materials, the manufacture and supply of a given product. It can also include carbon emissions associated with a product’s maintenance, use and eventual disposal or recycling.
Low Carbon Supply Chain (Services)
Supply chain Scope III carbon emissions for an organisation can make up in excess of 50% of the organisation’s total carbon emissions. It is therefore essential to successfully manage carbon emissions in supply chains using ‘low carbon procurement’ techniques.
