We achieve our quality and environmental principles through our accredited ISO9001 (Quality Assurance) and ISO14001 (Environmental Management) systems. We are proud in that our carbon footprint is 85% lower than that of traditional consultancies.

Our consultants are accredited CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants, Carbon Trust Consultants and are approved to carry out SBEM calculations. The practice itself is accredited to provide Carbon Management services by the Carbon Trust.  

b:ssec consults the economy in an environmentally conscious way and has minimal impact upon roads and fossil fuel emissions. This is achieved by using a virtual office enabling employees to work from home and the use of public transport (wherever possible). This operating structure helps us meet our social objectives in terms of wellbeing of our staff and their families.
